‘Surface’, Essex Road, Islington
Surface specialise in beautiful and extraordinary tiles for architects, designers and developers. The Islington showroom was arranged into amazingly crafted room-sets, carefully propped and lit using adjustable projectors, to allow versatility for futures alterations to the space. In the heart of the showroom, is a swatch bar illuminated using linear fittings to allow shadow-less natural viewing of the colours, finishes and textures of the sample tiles below.

The large lighting feature that runs through the showroom and juts out onto the street was with the illuminated logo was design by others.
‘Domus’, Great Sutton Street, Clerkenwell
For the same client, we also designed the lighting scheme the Domus showroom in Clerkenwell – which went on to win the ‘Retail Week, Interior Award 2012’. With local artists contemporary work hung for all to admire and displays that are continuously updating and changing, the environment is bright and professional like a breath of fresh air, where clients are encouraged to relax and enjoy the space.
Lighting pendants highlight the fixed areas on the ground floor alongside adjustable projectors, that can be redirected as the environment changes. Above the staircase is a beautiful array of linear fittings, drawing you to admire the shadow-less sample library in all of its glory and allowing you to peer down and take a peek at the technical lab below.
