Our standard UK delivery provides you with a 24 hour fully trackable service to your front door from our preferred delivery partners DHL and TNT.

Our delivery charges are calculated by volume, weight and destination country. We do our best to keep our delivery charges as competitive as possible.

Delivery FAQs

1. When will I know when my goods have been dispatched?
You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details for all courier dispatches. We will contact you directly to arrange a suitable day and time for all UK dedicated deliveries. You’ll be notified shortly before dispatch for all International freight orders travelling by air and/or sea.

2. Do you deliver items separately?
No. If you have ordered multiple items, we will send these out to you in one delivery as soon as they all arrive at the Q Lighting Ltd warehouse and they have been quality checked. We dispatch completed orders unless unforeseen circumstances occur.

3. When can I expect to receive my order?
The lead times are stated for each product plus 24 hours for UK standard deliveries and 2-9 days transit time for International courier deliveries (depending on final destination country). Larger orders and bulky/oversized/fragile items travelling overseas will take between 4-6 weeks and will travel by sea. If premium shipping is chosen your freight will travel by air and will take 7-10 days once dispatched from us.

4. Can you deliver to a hotel/public space?
No, unfortunately not – your goods must be delivered to a place of residence or business address only.

5. Can my order be left in the garden/porch/shed/bin?
No, all deliveries must be signed for unless you pre-arrange this with the courier at your own risk.

6. What does the International goods in transit insurance include?
The insurance will cover you for a replacement item if damaged or lost.

7. How much will the duties and taxes be for my International delivery?
Each country has their own percentage rate, this information can be found at your local customs office. You as the customer are solely responsible for paying these fees. Please ensure you are familiar with your countries importing rules and regulations and contact your local customs office for more information.

8. Can you lower the invoice value for customs purposes?
No, this is illegal.

UK Mainland Deliveries

Our UK delivery partner’s are DHL and TNT. for smaller orders and you can rest assured that your parcel is trackable at every stage.

The typical delivery window is 24 hours from the day your items arrive at Q Lighting Ltd (please note that many of our products have lead times associated with them which can be clearly seen on the product page).

All items purchased that are in stock will be sent out to you within 1 to 2 days. All orders placed after 2pm (GMT) for in-stock items will be processed the next working day.

If you have ordered multiple items, we will send these out to you in one delivery as soon as they all arrive at the Q Lighting Ltd warehouse and they have been quality checked.

Please note that our delivery service does not include assembly or unpacking. Occasionally the delivery company may require assistance unloading larger items.

Delivery and on-site installation* is available for an additional fee. The fee will depend on the delivery location and how long the installation will take to complete.

It includes a delivery appointment, room of choice delivery, assembly, installation and removal of all packing materials.

We will contact you once your order is complete to arrange a suitable date and time.

*On-site installation is not available for lighting products or for deliveries outside the UK and does not include electrical fitting for lighting, drilling or hanging mirrors and/or pictures.

International shipping details

Lead times on the product page are for UK mainland delivery. Europe and Worldwide destinations will take longer.

Our standard shipping on small items, will mean your items will arrive with you within 2-9 working days (depending on the final destination country) and providing your items are in-stock and being delivered by our preferred courier partner TNT.

Our premium shipping ensures your goods are delivered to you within 2 weeks* anywhere in the world. This is a fully trackable service that also includes full insurance against damage or loss. Your order will be palletised and will travel by air freight.

Our standard shipping for larger orders, fragile and bulky/oversized items that are unable to be delivered by courier ensures your goods will arrive 4-6 weeks** after they’ve been dispatched from us. Your order will be palletised and will travel by sea freight.

As we have a very large range of products which vary in size, shape and weight our international delivery charges are sometimes subject to change. In these cases we will contact you with the confirmed delivery charge and discuss the shipping options with you.

Please note: Delivery times do not include the time it takes for your order to be made.

** Once dispatched from Q Lighting Ltd and pending customs clearance. Bulky, multiple item orders and oversized goods need to be transported by a freight forwarder specialist, often travelling by sea freight.

The freight costs depend on the value of the goods, their weight/volume and the country of delivery. The delivery timescales for these items can range from 30 to 45 days in some cases. Preparation of export documentation can sometimes cause delays (approximately 5-10 working days) whilst goods are awaiting dispatch from the Q Lighting Ltd warehouse, we do our very best to keep delays to a minimum.

International deliveries do not include customs & clearance fees, duties & taxes, road tax (applicable in Turkey*) or quarantine and fumigation fees (mainly Australia) which are payable by the customer prior to delivery. Failure to make payment will result in delays (of which Q Lighting Ltd cannot be held responsible) and ultimately the return of the goods and further costs accrued.

* Standard deliveries to Turkey can avoid this high rate road tax by purchasing premium delivery (air) which will then be charged at a lower customs fee.

All large and/or over-sized and bulky deliveries to Brazil, Brunei, Chile & Nigeria will be to port only.
For imports into the USA you will need to be aware of the Importer Security Filing (ISF) Rule more commonly known as the 10+2 Rule and you must ensure you’ve appointed a Power of Attorney in order to clear your goods through customs.

Please ensure that you are familiar with your countries importing rules and regulations. If you are unsure please contact your local customs office for more information.

On-site installation is not currently available for international orders.

All international deliveries are curb-side only and the delivery company will require assistance unloading larger items.

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver all products listed on our website internationally for various reasons such as warranties, logistics and legal reasons. If your order is affected by this we will contact you directly to discuss the options available to you.
